WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR VISITING PURA MANGKUNEGARAN????

Who wants to visit Pura Mangkunegaran but is still afraid of what the rules are, or how to enter the Pura Mangkunegaran???  Don't worry. Here we will tell you what the rules are. Hopefully it can help you. 

Pura Mangkunegaran is the royal palace and residence of the Dukes of Mangkunegaran in Solo or Surakarta. Pura Mangkunegaran is a cultural center that is still considered sacred. Therefore we must respect it if we want to visit there. This place is open to the public and for those who want to visit there is an entrance fee. For local tourists the rate is Rp. 30,000 and for foreign tourists Rp. 50,000. 

Next, talk about the rules of entering the Pura Mangkunegaran area, namely:

1. Tourists are prohibited from wearing shorts. But don't worry, Pura Mangkunegaran provides "jarik" for tourists who already wear shorts. You can use it for free.

2. There is also a rule about clothing, which is not allowed to wear clothes that have elements of batik parang.

3. Use of fantasy glasses is prohibited  

4. Do not take photos in the "Dalem Ageng" room. In the Pura Mangkunegaran, there is a building called "Dalem Ageng", which is the main building of the Pura Mangkunegaran. But take it easy, other than Dalem Ageng, tourists can take photos as much as they want.
